Publications
Synklino’s research on ex vivo elimination of cytomegalovirus and the US28-targeting immunotoxin platform is published in leading peer-reviewed journals. A selection of our key publications is listed below.
Recent Publications
Synklino recently published the results from a preclinical study on the inhibition of CMV reactivation by ex vivo treatment of human kidneys with SYN002 in the American Journal of Transplantation. The study was done in collaboration with Addenbrooke’s hospital, Cambridge University, with invaluable contribution from key collaborators Dr. Emma Poole and Dr. Sarah A. Hosgood. An accompanying editorial was also published.
Poole et al. Inhibition of cytomegalovirus reactivation by ex vivo treatment of human kidneys with the SYN002 immunotoxin. American Journal of Transplantation, 2026.
Editorial: Anticytomegalovirus immunotoxin during ex vivo machine perfusion: Are we ready for cytomegalovirus-negative transplantation? American Journal of Transplantation, 2026.
